Caring annually for over 1000 people from different cultural, social, economic and ethnic backgrounds makes us the largest directly managed Care and Support service of our kind across south Wales.
Gwalia Care and Support are holding a recruitment open day on Thursday 26th January 2012 at 16, Spillman Street, Carmarthen, SA31 1JY. The day will run from 10am to 6pm and is aimed at recruiting female Homecare Carers in Carmarthen town, newcastle Emlyn/Llandysul and surrounding areas, although further opportunities are also available throughout Carmarthenshire.
Gwynfa, our homelessness drop-in scheme located in Powys has benefitted from the support of one of its own this Christmas. Graham, an ex-client from the project raised over £90 by promoting the work that the project does and holding raffles. The money was used to donate a fully-loaded Christmas hamper and cake to six of the clients who shared the Christmas spirit.
Christmas arrived early at two of our projects after the People’s Postcode Lottery donated 10 flat screen TVs to Furnace Banc and our Carmarthenshire Integrated Accommodation Project (Great Western).
